"Silica G" is a standard grade, unmodified Silica 60 with a surface area of 500 m2/g, mean pore size of 60A, specific pore volume of 0.75 ml/g, and particle size of 5-50um. The plates contain UV254 fluorescent indicator. This preparative soft layer is bound to a glass support. It has a thickness of 1000um and dimensions of 20x20cm. There are 15 plates per pack.

Alumina Neutral (pH 6-8) with UV254, analytical, aluminum backed TLC plates. The coating thickness is 200um and dimensions are 20x20cm. There are 25 plates per pack. Applications include: terpenes, alkaloids, steroids, aliphatic and aromatic compounds. To ensure sufficient adherence an inert organic binder is added to the aqueous suspension for coating. The aluminum oxide layer has a specific surface of about 200 m2/g (BET) and a pore size of about 60A. To activate the aluminum oxide layer, we recommend heating the TLC plates for 10 minutes at 120C.

The TLC plates contain UV254 fluorescent indicator. This analytical soft layer is bound to an aluminum support. It has a thickness of 200um and dimensions of 5x10cm. There are 50 plates per pack. The Silica XG TLC Plate has outstanding wettability for precise colorization results, even with 100% aqueous detection reagents, and excellent separation efficiency and reproducibility from lot to lot. Cutting the plates is easy and reliable due to an optimized binder system. There is no flaking of silica gel layer. Binder: highly polymeric product, which is stable in almost all organic solvents and resistant towards aggressive visualization reagents; also completely stable in purely aqueous eluents.

This thin layer chromatography (TLC) plate comprises a C2 Silica layer. It can be developed with purely organic, organic/aqueous and purely aqueous eluents. Thus the phase finds numerous applications in normal phase chromatography as well as in the reversed phase mode. The relative polarity of the eluent determines the polarity of the layer. The Silica 60 has a surface area of 500 m2/g, mean pore size of 60A, specific pore volume of 0.75 ml/g, particle size of 5-17um, and pH stability of 2-10. The TLC plates contain UV254 fluorescent indicator. The UV-absorbing substances appear as dark-blue to black spots on a light - blue background. This analytical layer is bound to a glass support. This analytical extra hard layer is bound to a glass support. It has a thickness of 250um and dimensions of 5x10cm. There are 50 plates per pack. The layer has an outstanding hardness and is abrasion resistant due to an optimized binder system. The plate can be easily labeled with a lead pencil for clear identification. There is an increased separation efficiency due to an optimized particle size distribution.
Miles Scientific SILICA GEL G 250UM 20X20CM CHANNELED (25 PLATES/BOX)
Silica Gel G & GF UNIPLATES are the most widely used silica gel TLC plates. No organic substances are added to these products, thus making them compatible with sulfuric acid charring visualization.These plates are commonly scraped from the glass backing to isolate separated components for other analytical procedures. They are compatible with all organic solvents, however, they are not recommended for use in systems containing greater than 20% water because of the solubility of the gypsum binder in aqueous solutions.
